AFM storage programme for prosumers — home battery grant
Prosumers (people whose solar system is connected to the grid and who sell their surplus) can get a grant of up to 75% of the cost of a home battery of at least 10 kWh, at most 15,000 RON including VAT. The guide was published on 14 September 2026; the Environment Fund (AFM) will announce the enrolment dates. The estimate uses 11,000 RON — 75% of a typical 10 kWh battery.
