# Solar and battery storage: free plan and installer offers | SolarPlan

> Solar panels, a battery or both for your home or business: a free 2D and 3D plan, hours of backup, price, subsidies and financing — then offers from verified installers in one format. Your plan is saved to your account.

SolarPlan is a solar marketplace for homes and businesses. The free solar plan is the entry point: it draws the panels on the real roof in 2D and 3D, prices the system for the household's needs and adds the regional subsidies and bank financing that apply at the address. The outcome is offers in one format from local installers that SolarPlan has verified. Installers receive qualified, phone-verified projects and pay per project they open (at most 3 companies per project); homeowners pay nothing.

## Answered plainly.

### Is it really free?

Yes. Your plan, its price, subsidies, financing offers and the offers from verified installers cost you nothing. SolarPlan is a marketplace: installers pay to open qualified projects; that never changes your numbers.

### How accurate is the plan?

It starts from aerial imagery, your building’s outline and long-term sunshine data, then simulates a full year hour by hour. Price is a range; installers confirm it on site. If data for your roof is limited, the plan says so.

### Who sees my details?

Nobody. Your account only saves your plan — no calls. When you ask for offers, matching installers see the project without your name, contacts or address; only those who open it (up to 3 for homes, 5 for businesses) get your details, after you consent.

### No street address, or a business site?

Type just your town for a plan without an exact address, or mark the place on the map: select a building, or draw a roof zone or a piece of ground.

### What about grants and tax relief?

Where local incentives are available, your plan lists them with their official source. Each is shown as potentially eligible; the programme itself decides.
